Mr Michael Stellakis is one of the UK’s leading laparoscopic abdominal surgeons, offering a range of state-of-the-art treatments for hernia, gallbladder disease, colon cancer, sports groin injuries, and irritable bowel syndrome, from his private practice at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital.

Mr Stellakis is one of the few UK surgeons who has performed over 2000 TEP laparoscopic hernias with excellent audited results and is the most experienced laparoscopic hernia surgeon in the Midlands. This technique, whilst more complex to perform than other keyhole or open repairs, affords the patient less pain and scarring and quicker recovery whilst being safer than other techniques.

Mr Stellakis is also one of only 57 consultant surgeons in the UK qualified to train other consultants in advanced keyhole techniques for removing bowel cancers. He is an early pioneer of this form of treatment, having set up from scratch the keyhole bowel cancer service at Warwick hospital, then trained junior surgeons and fellows to introduce the procedure across the Midlands. Mr Stellakis’ comfort and patient satisfaction scores are excellent, and he is audited on a regular basis.

Originally qualifying in Medicine from the University of Bristol in 1991, Mr Stellakis trained at a number of institutes of excellence in London, Paris and Strasbourg, before completing a fellowship in laparoscopic bowel surgery at Frimley Park Hospital in 2004. Mr Stellakis is additionally a fellow of the Association of Coloproctology, Great Britain and Ireland, and of the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons. In addition to his private practice he has 14 years’ experience as consultant laparoscopic surgeon at South Warwickshire Foundation Trust.

Mr Hart later joined Royal Free Hospital, where he is the Service Lead for general and emergency surgery. He is leading the Royal Free Hospital and North Central London abdominal wall reconstruction service.

Further to his highly-sought surgery practice, Mr Hart is a lecturer for undergraduate students at University College London and at the Royal Free Hospital campus. He is the author of various publications in peer-reviewed journals and regularly presents for the Royal College of Surgeons.

In addition to his clinical work, Mr Spencer has contributed numerous articles to peer-review scientific publications. He is a member of the ENT UK Global Health Committee and was appointed as Vice Chairman in 2022. He is the Global Health Editor for the international journal ENT and Audiology News. Mr Andrew Gray is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon based in Newcastle upon Tyne and Middlesborough.  He is a leading orthopaedic and trauma consultant specialist who works at James Cook University Hospital and Friarage Hospitals in Middlesbrough and Northallerton respectively.  He specialises in knee arthroscopy, knee replacement and knee arthritis.  He is also an orthopaedic trauma specialist who focuses on general lower limb trauma and also pelvic and acetabular fractures.  Mr Gray privately practices at Cobalt Hospital (Newcastle) and Tees Valley Hospital (Middlesbrough). His NHS base is South Tees NHS Foundation Trust where he was the clinical director for the trauma and orthopaedic department in the South Tees Trust from 2018 to 2021.

Mr Gray was a founding member of the UK Orthopaedic Trauma Society. He completed his medical and orthopaedic surgical training in Glasgow and Edinburgh before spending a year in Calgary, Canada, where he completed a trauma fellowship in 2008. He has been a practicing consultant within a major trauma centre for the past 14 years. He has over 1000 primary knee replacements on the National joint registry with good results. He is an arthroscopic knee specialist dealing predominantly with meniscal or cartilage tears and knee arthritis. Furthermore, he has an MD with Distinction from the University of Edinburgh.

Mr Gray is a respected name in research and has published in various peer-reviewed journals. He was the lower limb editor for the journal 'Injury' between 2014 and 2021. He is the co-chair of the recently-formed Fracture Liaison Service Academy Network (FAN) at his NHS trust, which aims to make these services more effective   And has an interest in secondary fracture prevention which involves the management of osteoporosis and fragility fractures.

Mr Gray also teaches on a regular basis, both nationally and is a faculty member for AO courses, and is the principal investigator for various NIHR trauma portfolio studies. He is the Global treasurer and UK secretary for the Fragility Facture Network (FFN) and is the orthopaedic trauma representative on the Royal Osteoporosis Society's clinical and scientific committee.

He is a member of the UK Orthopaedic Trauma Society, the British Orthopaedic Association and a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS (Tr&Orth))

Mr Ricardo Camprodon is a respected Consultant General, Laparoscopic and Benign Upper GI Surgeon with over 25 years’ experience, practising in Birmingham and Dudley. Mr Camprodon’s knowledge spans multiple areas, and he specialises in gastroesophageal reflux disease, gallbladder and biliary stone disease, abdominal wall hernia surgery, weight loss surgery and gastroscopy.
 
Mr Camprodon qualified from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona with an LMS (equivalent to a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery) in 1994, followed by a master’s degree in surgical science (MSc). He then moved to the UK in 1998 to complete his surgical training.
 
His interests lie in benign upper GI diseases, bariatric and laparoscopic surgeries. In his career he has performed over 2500 general surgical operations, including 800 laparoscopic cholecystectomies and 100 anti-reflux procedures. He also performs over 800 gastroscopies a year.
 
Mr Camprodon is also dedicated to research and medical education. He pursued a multicentre, multinational research project in transplant immunology at Sheffield University, Kings College London and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, for which he was awarded two international prizes and, a Ph.D. in 2019.

He also has obtained a post-CCT fellowship in bariatric and antireflux Surgery. Mr Camprodon is a fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons and is currently involved in establishing the Black Country Bariatric Collaborative Group, which will focus on delivering a weight loss surgery service to the Black Country population without the need to outsorce.
